Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an automotive technician for Culver City, CA. This night shift role covers preventative maintenance, tire services, diagnostics, and standard repairs at client sites, potentially in a retail setting during training.

Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, plus a $1 shift differential. Minimum 1 year of automotive experience and a valid license are required; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• ASE certification is preferred; high school diploma or GED is Preferred; experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, A/C, and fuel ignition work.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation.
• Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.
