Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the Weekend Nights shift (Saturday-Monday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM). This full-time role involves operating machinery to manufacture products, following work instructions, and meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

High school Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
Detail oriented, organized and team oriented.
Able to use hand tools with precision.
Physically capable of lifting up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality.
Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.
Continuously learn the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require.
Safely handle materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.
Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed.
Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.
