Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator II for a night shift in West Hazleton, PA, working 6:30 pm to 7:00 am. You will operate plastic blow molding machines, adjust/process lines, and support quality goals.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and with a team. Expect safety, quality standards, and potential limited travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Proficient computer usage and typing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines while staying positive.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within instructions and routines.
• Strong collaboration with others to support group objectives.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce containers safely and with high quality.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line as needed.
• Perform basic processing to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in other Utility tasks during slow periods or as needed.
• Monitor resin, dryer, material handling and color systems for proper processing conditions.
• Conduct on-time quality checks against established standards.
• Assist maintenance and other operators with repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Train new operators and communicate processing information to oncoming shifts.
• Limited travel may be required to support operations.
