Job summary

Oklahoma Blood Institute is seeking a dedicated member to manufacture blood and blood components in Oklahoma City. The role requires reliability, good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Work hours are nights, Monday through Friday, with pay ranging from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, plus potential Spanish language pay and paid on-the-job training. This is a great opportunity to contribute to lifesaving blood products while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to work well with people.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Some moderate lifting required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture blood and blood components
• Prepare blood and blood components for labeling
• Label blood and blood components
• Triage whole blood according to inventory needs
• Manufacture apheresis red blood cells
• Perform maintenance of equipment as appropriate
• Maintain cleanliness of the manufacturing lab
• BPS and Reference Lab orders
• Take SOPs as appropriate
