Job summary

Oklahoma Blood Institute in Lawton, OK seeks a driver responsible for delivering and retrieving processed and unprocessed blood, products, samples, equipment, and supplies to hospitals, mobile drives, centers, clinics, and research facilities.

Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver's license with zero points, and be able to lift at least 60 pounds. Varied hours with on-call availability and a competitive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver license with zero points on driving record.
• Driving record must have no moving violations or accidents in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, retrieve, distribute and transport Blood Products, samples, equipment, and supplies to/from hospitals, mobile drives, centers, clinics and other facilities.
• Process and prepare orders for distribution of blood and components as appropriate.
• Retrieve and secure products from assigned locations at closing.
• Be available for on-call as scheduled.
• Coordinate with Satellites and Mobile Blood Drive for pickups.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform quality control and maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
