Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II – Blending for the Auburndale, Florida facility. This night shift role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on blending and thermal processing equipment to support production quality and safety.

You will read blueprints, work with electrical and mechanical systems, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring GMP compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, PLCs and blending/thermal systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; manual dexterity; safe around machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and repairs on blending and thermal processing systems to sustain operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using test results, diagnostic tools, and input from operators to identify and address equipment issues promptly.
• Replace, rebuild, or adjust system components such as pumps, valves, motors, and control devices while ensuring production and product quality integrity.
• Operate and test machinery after repairs to confirm proper functionality and validate maintenance performance.
• Record maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs accurately in CMMS and collaborate with maintenance planning teams.
