Trinity Health in Davenport, IA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Birth Center on the 3rd shift (7pm-7:30am). This full-time role, 36 hours per week, is ideal for nurses committed to high-quality maternal-newborn care.

The position provides safe, culturally competent care to mothers and newborns, with opportunities to support labor and delivery or transitional nursery as experience grows, in alignment with ANA standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Field of Study: Nursing.
• Special Training: NRP within 6 months; Basic Life Support.
• Training Preferred: Clinical certification; Baccalaureate in Nursing.
• Licensure/Registration: RN in Iowa; RN in Illinois within 1 year.
• Experience: No experience required but labor and delivery experience preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Moderate to high interpersonal/interactions in diverse settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, effective, and culturally competent care for mothers and infants.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice.
• Adhere to ANA Professional Practice Standards and participate in quality monitoring.
• May expand to labor and delivery and/or transitional nursery as skills grow.
• Report to Manager and collaborate with the health care team.
