Job summary

Planet Pharma in Memphis, TN is seeking a Biomanufacturing Technician I for night shift to support start-up and GMP production of novel cellular products. The role requires working nights, weekends and holidays, with aseptic processing in clean rooms and rigorous documentation.

Responsibilities include manufacturing, formulation, banking of cellular products, supporting validation efforts, and maintaining clean room standards while protecting product quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a scientific field strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Zero to 1 year of applicable biotech/cell therapy experience.
• Must work in a clean room with hazardous materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain qualifications for aseptic activities.
• Responsible for production, formulation, and banking of cellular products (GMP, GDP, aseptic processing).
• Write GMP documents including SOPs, product specifications, equipment specs and batch records.
• Support validation efforts related to the manufacturing process.
• Participate in manufacturing activities including raw materials, cell culture, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain clean room behaviors and upkeep.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
