Job summary

Chevron's Specialty Operations unit seeks a Biodiesel Operator for night shift at Mason City, IA. You will monitor process equipment, perform basic maintenance tasks, load-out and receive products, and document operations in PI.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, good communication, and willingness to work outdoors in a chemical processing environment. Prior chemical processing experience is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous chemical processing or related experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in extreme outdoor elements.
• Knowledge of arithmetic and its application.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor biodiesel processing equipment safely.
• Assist with load-out and receiving functions for oils and fuels.
• Perform routine inspections and document process data.
• Follow safety, operational, and quality procedures.
• Provide basic maintenance and housekeeping within the facility.
• Read drawings/P&ID and learn biodiesel master control system.
