Job summary

Chevron Renewable Energy Group is hiring a Biodiesel Operator for the Seneca, IL facility on the night shift. You will run the biodiesel master control system, perform QA checks on inputs and outputs, and help maintain a clean, safe plant environment while supporting production targets.

The role requires basic technical skills, a high school diploma, and eligibility to obtain a TWIC card. Expect rigorous safety adherence and regular data reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
• 6–12 months general work experience preferred.
• Basic computer, mechanical and electrical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate biodiesel master computer system, main control, and process production system; record data and generate reports.
• Perform quality control on oil, biodiesel, glycerin, fatty acids, and water; inspect inventories.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and perform general maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assist with overseeing production in the biodiesel plant and with equipment maintenance.
• Monitor quality and suggest production efficiency improvements.
