Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Complete background study.
• Know and understand Minnesota statutes and regulations relevant to the role.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 30 days of employment.
• Must have a valid MN driver’s license.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting at least 30 pounds.
• Be highly dependable; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize client monitoring, including house rounds and documenting information.
• Maintain knowledge of client activities and program expectations.
• Be available to clients for questions, support and assistance.
• Serve as a positive role model with healthy behaviors and boundaries.
• Participate in program activities with a positive attitude.
• Assist with intake, admission procedures, and orientation for new clients.
• Administer medications and document accordingly.
• Complete timely and objective documentation of client interactions and incidents.
• Use sound judgment and understanding of client needs and program issues.
• Maintain knowledge of program philosophy, policies, and confidentiality standards.
• Check emails and calendars for updates and responsibilities.
• Handle multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
• Adhere to attendance policies and schedules; participate in rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Assist with food preparation, program cleaning, and laundry.
• Provide safe transportation for clients to appointments, intakes, and discharges.
• Ensure company vehicles are cleaned and manage company cards and receipts.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and coworkers.
• Perform other duties to support operations and client care.
