Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in Benton, AR for FT night shift. The role involves 3x12 schedules with weekends varying, and supporting patients with daily living activities and unit safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required.
• License: CNA Preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have within 45 days of hire; Handle with Care (HWC) Must have within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and records patient behavior and activities. Reports any changes in physical, mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.
• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
• Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.
