Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO seeks a Behavioral Health RN to provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain patient rights and confidentiality. The role supports a structured therapeutic program for psychiatric illness, behavioral disorders and substance use disorders, with night shifts and a sign-on bonus.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program (ADN/ diploma/ BSN), an active RN license in Missouri (compact preferred) and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and accountability.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Maintains professional standards aligned with Mercy Service Standards.
