Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking staff for multiple night shift openings from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with alternating weekends. The role involves supervising, coaching, and supporting patients and families in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience in customer service or caring for children. BLS on hire and Safety Care certification within 3 months are required; preferred skills include

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of related experience in customer service and/or caring for and maintaining safety of children.
Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire.
Safety Care certification (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

Provide supervision, coaching, and support to patients and families.
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment and provide interventions to maintain safety of patients with mental and behavioral health challenges in a variety of settings.
Must be able to work with patients that are experiencing a variety of behavioral and physical symptoms related to mental illness.
