Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Night Shift Team Leader / Store Closer to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea. You will educate customers on the menu, make recommendations, and up-sell items while taking orders.

Qualifications

• Experience as barista or waiter/waitress.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter.
• Take orders with attention to details (preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios).
• Prepare beverages following recipes.
• Serve beverages and baked goods.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards).
• Keep the service area clean and maintained.
• Maintain stock.
• Check brewing equipment operates properly and report maintenance needs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.
