New Weds Foods in Springdale, AR is hiring a Bagger to operate a bagging machine, verify labels and weights, and pass bags through a metal detector. The role is in the Blending department on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am), with broad responsibilities assigned by the shift supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Able to communicate well, both verbal and written, with good mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure batch numbers and product codes on labels match the product being dumped.
• Make sure the metal detector is in good working condition.
• Stack bags neatly on skids and use the correct skid color.
• Return unused labels to the operator for recording.
• Clean machine and work area as required.
• Detect malfunctions of the metal detector and rollers and report to the supervisor.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Report shortages to the lead operator.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
