Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Bagger for 2nd shift in our breading department. You will operate a bagging machine, ensure correct labeling and weight, and verify each bag passes through the metal detector before leaving the line.

Additional tasks may be assigned by the shift supervisor or department manager as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Able to communicate well, both verbal and written, with good math skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs continuously.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bagging machine to fill bags with product.
• Ensure proper labeling and weight of bags.
• Ensure bags pass through metal detector before leaving bagging area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with safety policies.
• Return unused labels to operator for recording.
• Stack bags neatly on skids with correct colors.
• Monitor metal detector and rollers for malfunctions and report issues.
• Follow all safety requirements and company policies.
