Job summary

Proxemics Consulting Inc. is seeking an Automotive Quality Liaison in the Lansing, MI area. This hands-on role operates on the plant floor to quickly identify and resolve assembly and quality issues, coordinating with OEM teams from operators to plant management.

You’ll support defect sorting and work with material handling to keep parts flowing, preventing issues before they escape. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, mechanical aptitude, and the stamina to stand for long shifts

Qualifications

Strong communication skills and the confidence to speak up with operators and managers alike.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot how parts and systems interact.
Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable transportation and a professional, dependable work ethic.
Basic computer skills and a motivated, solutions-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly and quality issues related to customer components
Communicate clearly and quickly with OEM teams at every level – from operators to plant management
Oversee defect sorting operations when needed and work with material handling to keep product flowing
Build strong working relationships that help prevent problems before they escape
Support new model launches and ongoing quality improvements on the plant floor
