Job summary

Ms Companies is seeking a Quality Liaison in Elgin, IL to support plant quality operations inside a customer facility. This role acts as the on-site quality representative, working closely with Customer Quality and Manufacturing teams to identify issues and support containment to keep production on track.

The ideal candidate has automotive or manufacturing experience, understands how quality issues affect production, and will audit incoming material, report issues with clear photos, and

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing quality environments.
• Understanding of basic quality inspection principles.
• Strong communication to report issues clearly.
• Ability to document with reports and data using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with Customer Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Proactively audit incoming material to identify quality issues.
• Communicate quality issues to the supplier with clear details and photos.
• Ensure inspection processes are followed and certified product is supplied on time.
• Maintain containment, sorting, or rework activities as needed.
• Verify accuracy of containment inspection data and findings.
• Maintain rejected material inventory for accurate RMA processing.
