Figure is seeking a Commercial Technician to support the commercial team by building and maintaining custom work cells and replicating client facilities. The night shift operates on-site in San Jose, with a five-night week and independent tablet-to-workcell handoffs to the day team.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain work cell equipment, including conveyors, motors, sensors, and safety devices. Strong PLC, Raspberry Pi, and electrical diagnostic skills are essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite or similar tools.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all work cell equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on conveyors, motors, and drives (VFDs).
• Install, align, calibrate, and verify sensors and safety devices; confirm safe operation after repair.
• Troubleshoot control systems, including PLCs and Raspberry Pi devices, from I/O and wiring faults to program backups and basic software or connectivity issues.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and diagnose faults.
• Log repairs, root causes, and parts used.
