Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and support automated equipment and control systems. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, independence, and rapid response to equipment issues.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on robots, sensors, conveyors, and related controls, with opportunities to train and advance in the automation field. 12-hour nights are possible with shift differential.

• Good reading comprehension and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform automation-related duties with minimum supervision.
• Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance on robots, automated equipment, sensors, conveyors, and related control systems.
• Assist employees in all departments and facilities with troubleshooting automation issues.
• Keep automation work areas, robots, and peripheral equipment neat and orderly.
• Demonstrate willingness to receive training and progress in the automation/controls field.
• Obtain parts in times of emergency to minimize downtime.
• Take control of equipment when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of automated machinery.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
