Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, at its Kindig Lane facility, seeks an Automation Line Operator Lead for a full-time shift (Mon-Thu, 5:30 PM–5:30 AM) with overtime as needed. You will lead the line, monitor performance, and support the operation and basic maintenance of robotic palletizers and conveyors to keep production safe and efficient.

You’ll supervise Automation Operators, Jackpot Lane Operators and Forklift Handlers, coordinate with P3/P4 and RDC leaders, and drive continuous improvement by addressing

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing line operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and LOTO.
• Ability to monitor equipment performance via HMIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily line operations and supervise assigned operators.
• Monitor performance metrics such as box count and pallet output.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping to 5S standards.
• Assist with basic maintenance of palletizers and conveyors.
• Communicate shift issues to leaders and drive continuous improvement.
