Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA seeks an Automation Line Operator Lead to manage the line and supervise Automation Operators during the shift from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed. This role focuses on safe operation, performance monitoring, and hands-on support for robotic palletizers and conveyors in a fast-paced snack production environment.

You'll partner with team leaders to drive continuous improvement, mentor operators, and ensure equipment

Qualifications

• Experience operating automated packaging lines preferred.
• Experience with robotics, conveyors, and palletizers.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Basic understanding of PLCs and machine interfaces.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily line operations and coordinate Automation Operators.
• Monitor performance metrics and address issues.
• Oversee equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Ensure proper safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Troubleshoot, clear jams, and log downtime.
