Job summary

Clean Rite is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Bronx, NY location to lead daily operations and drive exceptional customer experiences.

You will partner with the General Manager to supervise staff, oversee wash, dry, and fold services, manage inventory, and promote our laundry products. A 2+ year background in retail or service management is preferred, with strong communication and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, service, sales, or ops management.
• Strong business acumen; manage budgets and costs a plus.
• Hands-on with operations and maintenance needs.
• Excellent communication to motivate teams and serve customers.
• Sales-minded with experience in retail environments.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and be the face of the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and peak efficiency.
• Oversee staff during shifts, guiding adherence to policies.
• Manage inventory and supplies, keeping shelves stocked.
• Support day-to-day laundromat operations and maintenance.
