Job summary

UFP Site Built, LLC is seeking an Assembler I to construct and frame truss, wall, or floor components in line with customer specifications. You will ensure parts and materials are secured for efficient workflow and perform routine quality checks for accuracy and compliance with production standards.

Responsibilities include setting up the work area, using hand tools, stacking finished products, and maintaining a safe, clean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing/assembling experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must use a hammer for extended periods and have good hand-eye coordination.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift lumber safely.

Responsibilities

• Complete work area setup.
• Assemble parts per instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools (hammer, saws, nail gun, tape measure) to complete assembly.
• Stack and prepare finished products according to procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Report any safety, quality or equipment concerns.
• Identify and correct non-conforming products following procedures.
