Job summary

Crane Currency seeks an Armed Security Officer for the 3rd shift in Nashua, NH. The role runs 11:00pm–7:00am, Monday–Friday, with weekend and holiday rotations. You’ll protect people, assets, and intellectual property across our facilities, monitor access and surveillance, and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities include incident reporting, coordinating with law enforcement, and using appropriate force per policy. Must obtain NH armed guard license and First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in armed security, military, or law enforcement or an associate degree in criminal justice.
• Ability to obtain Basic 1st Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to obtain Armed Guard License in NH.
• Basic computer skills.
• High energy with ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated conflict management skills.
• Overtime may be required; travel to Crane facilities.
• U.S. Citizenship and suitability for public trust.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access control, intrusion detection, and surveillance; investigate unusual activity.
• Prevent unauthorized access by engaging security questioning or contacting law enforcement.
• Use non-deadly force or firearms for self-defense per policy.
• Inspect outgoing parcels and track secure material shipments.
• Perform interior and exterior patrols; report vulnerabilities and hazards.
• Prepare comprehensive incident reports and outcomes.
• Enforce safety and security policies; report violations.
• Provide basic medical care and assist emergency responders.
