Job summary

Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH is seeking a Full-Time Security Guard to join our 24/7 security team. You will monitor access, patrol the arena, and coordinate with event staff to maintain a safe environment for guests, contractors, and employees during night operations.

This night-shift role runs 11:00 pm–7:00 am, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. The position emphasizes vigilance, incident reporting, and collaboration with local law enforcement when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related safety and security experience.
• Familiar with security screening procedures including frictionless and x-ray screening.
• Experience with alarm systems, CCTV and access control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work overnight as part of the standard hours for this role, maintaining alertness at all times.
• Ensure safety and a positive experience for Guests, Contractors, and Employees.
• Enforce department policies for Nationwide Arena and Partners in a professional manner.
• Monitor interior and exterior activity using CCTV and access control systems.
• Conduct surveillance rounds and safety checks around the arena and exterior.
• Patrol premises to prevent intrusions and secure doors, windows, and gates.
• Document incidents and report to Management as needed.
• Assist with credentialing and ID badge access levels.
