BEST Crowd Management in Columbus, OH is seeking an Event Security Officer for Nationwide Arena to help ensure the safety of attendees, staff and property during events. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work with a professional team at a high-profile venue.

You will patrol areas, monitor access points, conduct bag checks, respond to incidents, coordinate with event staff and emergency services, and provide courteous service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work in a team and adapt to varying event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence to client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, perform entry screenings, and stay vigilant for suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement or medical services as needed.
• Collaborate with event staff to coordinate security efforts and resolve issues.
• Provide courteous guest service, assist attendees, and offer directions as required.
• Report incidents to supervisors and document relevant activities for leadership review.
• Uphold company policies and security procedures consistently.
