Job summary

The MetroHealth System, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University, seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner to deliver direct patient care in collaboration with a physician, including diagnosis, management and referrals. The role emphasizes preventive health, patient advocacy, and potential specialty care.

Night shifts are 7p-7a, six days on, with eight days off in a 28-day cycle.

Qualifications

• Licensed APRN in Ohio with MSN or equivalent grandfathered status.
• Current Ohio RN licensure and APN certification with prescriptive authority.
• Comfortable working night shifts and collaborating with physicians.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in collaboration with a physician across specialty areas.
• Diagnose, manage, and refer health issues within scope of practice.
• Provide evidence-based care and promote preventive health actions.
• Prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices as allowed by law.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and ANA/ethics codes.
