Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team in the operating room, assisting with patient care and OR preparation. The role includes setting up and maintaining anesthesia equipment, and supporting complex surgical cases such as cardiac, trauma, transplant, and vascular procedures.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, a current BLS certification, and strong knowledge of equipment setup and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Ability to participate in on-call and overnight coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia team with patient care and OR preparation.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Support advanced surgical cases (cardiac, trauma, transplant, vascular, etc.).
• Operate cell-saver and assist with specialized anesthesia procedures.
• Ensure equipment readiness, preventive maintenance, and room turnover.
