Job summary

American Medical Response in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Vehicle Supply Technician for a full-time, 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am). You will manage ambulances and field vehicle readiness, track inventory with Operative IQ, and maintain Excel spreadsheets for ordering and reporting.

Responsibilities include vehicle inventory control, restocking supplies, interfacing with vendors, keeping accurate counts, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid State of Arizona Driver’s License with good driving record and NO driving restrictions.
• Background Check and Drug Screen will be conducted; Marijuana is a disqualifier.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inventory check/control of supplies and equipment.
• Clean ambulances and other field vehicles inside and outside daily.
• Restock ambulance supplies daily.
• Ordering/Tracking requested goods via online systems/programs.
• Communicating with outside vendors to procure needed items.
• Keeping accurate inventory numbers using various computer programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Maintaining a clean and functional workspace.
• Respond to daily phone inquiries from crews to facilitate coordination between departments.
• Requisition supplies for replacement.
• Inform Supervisor and Fleet Maintenance of breakdowns and cause of equipment failure.
• Document condition of ambulance at EOS and schedule preparedness for shift personnel.
• Update crew in service information on Operative IQ for equipment tracking.
• Processing and shipping Warehouse orders.
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
• Conduct self in a professional manner according to company policy.
• Arrive for duty on time, groomed and in proper dress.
• Complete all required Company training.
• Adhere to all Company policies and information security procedures.
