Staker Parson Companies in Charleston, UT is seeking an Aggregate Plant Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment for safe, efficient operations. Night shifts required; knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors, hydraulics, and welding preferred.

The role involves preventive maintenance, repair of mechanical and electrical systems, and collaboration with plant management to minimize downtime while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial, aggregates, mining, asphalt, concrete, or heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience with conveyors, crushers, screens, feeders, pumps, and aggregate processing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance documents, and schematics.
• Welding and fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aggregate processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and safety concerns; recommend repairs and improvements.
• Replace bearings, belts, pulleys, rollers, gearboxes, motors, and other components.
