Job summary

DESC is seeking an After Hours Supervisor to support housing projects, coordinate staffing during night shifts, and provide expert consultation to staff on client and facility issues. The role emphasizes crisis response, scheduling, and onboarding of on-call personnel.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, covering PTO, interviewing new staff, and collaborating with project managers to ensure smooth operations across programs.

Qualifications

• BA degree in social service or behavioral science preferred.
• Two years of coordination experience.
• Two years of experience with homeless, mentally ill, or chemically dependent adults.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing with each housing project to ensure adequate coverage.
• Communicate with Project Managers to cover PTO and vacancies.
• Interview, hire and orient new on-call staff.
• Provide remote and in-person consultation to staff on client, facilities, or personnel issues.
