Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Night Shift to perform inspection functions of assembled parts and to validate processes for compliance with the Quality System.

Responsibilities include documenting inspections, entering data into the tracking system, and assisting in identifying defects while maintaining high housekeeping and adherence to safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required; assessment may be used for consideration.
• Must be able to read and comprehend American English.
• Must be able to read, interpret, and understand customer drawings, mylars and sketches as applicable to work performed.
• Must develop a good working knowledge of internal procedures and customer requirements.
• Must use the Work Order Tracking Program and the SharePoint Quality System proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products and/or documents at various production stages to validate processes.
• Enter data into the Work Order Tracking System and maintain inspection records.
• Document Nonconforming Material per Quality System Requirements.
• Determine acceptability of product per work order and customer requirements.
• Assist in identifying parts deficiencies and prevent recurrences.
• Prepare parts and documentation to meet outside criteria.
