Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an Advanced Clinical Tech II for the Charlton Memorial Hospital campus in Fall River, MA. This 36-hour weekly night shift role includes rotating weekends and holidays and offers a $1,500 new hire sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Under direct nursing supervision, you will perform phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures and vascular access, with opportunities for ACLS-level skills and growth through leadership training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses and training.
• Minimum 2 years of working paramedic experience
• Current Paramedic License, BLS and ACLS certification required.
• PALS and MOAB certification required within one year of hire.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt by signing a statement if you are choosing an exemption after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including phlebotomy, EKG, minor invasive procedures under nursing supervision and physician orders.
• Identify, escalate and notify clinical staff for lethal rhythm alarms and start upper extremity IVs as directed.
• Conduct patient interviews and perform clerical duties such as quick registration, data entry, transcription, and medical records management.
