Job summary

UC Davis Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for Acute Care SOS and float pool coverage. The role involves supervising and delivering autonomous nursing care across inpatient units, with emphasis on the nursing process and patient education.

This 60% position requires a CA RN license, BLS/CPR, and recent acute care experience. The role is on-site in the North Addition Building with a 23:00–05:00 shift and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license required.
• AHA/Red Cross BLS or UC Davis Health CPR required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide total, comprehensive, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess, document, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver direct patient care and ensure patient satisfaction.
