Job summary

BAS HealthCare in Hartford, CT is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) to join their Surgical Critical Care team in an inpatient ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have critical care experience, specifically in managing complex trauma and ICU patients.

This full-time position offers rotating day/night shifts, no call requirements, and a supportive environment with access to state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent critical care experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an ICU setting required.
• Must have an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License or be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Join a Surgical Critical Care team in an inpatient ICU setting.
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate treatment plans.
• Develop plans for evaluation of health needs including referrals.
