Job summary

MED-STAT HEALTH CARE INC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift (3x12hr) in the Mountainside area. The therapist will assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders, ensuring high-quality respiratory care and compliance with regulations.

A patient-friendly bedside manner and strong understanding of best practices are essential. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, recommending respiratory care plans, performing basic procedures, and communicating clearly

Qualifications

• NBRC credential required or state board equivalent.
• State licensure required.
• Deep understanding of respiratory care and patient practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients.
• Make recommendations on respiratory care based on specific needs.
• Perform basic respiratory care, including inserting/removing tubes and adjusting machines.
• Collaborate with family and patient to ensure understanding and goals are met.
