Job summary

Data-Mail, Inc in Newington, CT is seeking a 2nd Press Operator for a Sunday-Thursday 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. shift.

You will assist the first press operator with setup, ink management, and quality checks on 6- to 10-color presses, ensuring efficient operation and clean work areas. Experience in offset printing is preferred; trade school or GED is acceptable. Responsibilities include changing cylinders and blankets, running quality checks on sample prints, and maintaining supplies and safety

Qualifications

• Trade school, high school or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience on offset presses or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and set up paper for production.
• Change cylinders and blankets on the press.
• Install perfs, scores and die cuts.
• Maintain ink levels and fountain solution.
• Ensure print samples meet quality and color/registration standards.
• Keep work area clean and assist in job production paperwork.
