The Salvation Army Bremerton Corps is seeking a part-time Shelter Monitor to support the Bremerton shelter. Shifts run 4:30 PM–9:30 PM, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and adherence to shelter rules for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include admittance of clients, bedding distribution, daily log maintenance, incident reporting, and coordination with the Shelter Manager and Shift Supervisor. Emphasis on confidentiality, teamwork, and respectful service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a TSA criminal background check.
• Must be a team player committed to helping those in need.
• Able to adapt to varied situations and maintain safety.

Responsabilités

• Staffing and scheduling for opening and closing shifts.
• Follow shelter operation rules and admit clients for the night.
• Distribute bedding and maintain a clean shelter.
• Maintain daily shelter log and incident reports.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment and diffuse conflicts.
• Attend training and meetings with Shelter Supervisor.
