Job summary

Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for Grand Casinos in Minnesota. You will oversee the Security Department on a night shift, ensure safety for Guests and staff, and maintain secure operations across the facility.

Your role includes supervising officers, managing staffing, patrolling the property, and preparing incident reports to uphold high standards of safety and guest service on the casino floor.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in one-on-one and group settings.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and evaluate security staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Security Officers on assigned shift and ensure staffing levels.
• Patrol property, identify hazards, and report findings to protect Guests and staff.
• Back-up Security Officers and assume duties as needed.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain knowledge of facilities and events to advise Guests and staff.
• Guard money transfers and secure casino floor operations.
• Interact with Guests professionally to ensure high service levels.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training to improve skills.
