Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking a Security Officer for night shift. The role involves patrolling the facility, responding to calls and emergencies, and enforcing safety rules under the Director of Security.

You will perform investigations, report results, and help ensure radios, vehicles and life-safety equipment function properly while assisting customers. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a PA driver’s license, and CPR/AED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification within six months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all assigned areas of the facility and respond to calls and emergency codes immediately.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations as directed and conduct investigations; inform managers of results.
• Inform the Director of safety issues and ensure functioning radios, vehicles, and Life Safety Equipment.
• Assist customers and perform other duties as assigned.
