Job summary

Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, MD is hiring a Security Officer (PT) for the Overnight Shift (10PM–6AM). This part-time role pays $16 per hour and supports guest safety, perimeter protection, and incident response on a busy casino floor.

You will enforce state lottery regulations, maintain professional demeanor, and work with a night crew to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff at Ocean Downs Casino, a Churchill Downs Incorporated property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a Maryland State Lottery Agency license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vigilance to ensure safety of guests, employees and property.
• Enforce State Lottery Regulations and Internal Controls.
• Enforce security procedures at all posts.
• Assist in the transfer of monies between areas.
• Patrol grounds in security vehicle.
• Promote outstanding customer relations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
