Job summary

SSC, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Milford, CT to patrol designated areas, monitor for security concerns, and respond to incidents during the midnight shift on weekends.

You will interact with clients, protect assets, and maintain high levels of service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years, a state security license where required, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Security experience preferred; state license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas by foot or vehicle.
• Observe conditions creating security concerns or safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms, contacting appropriate services as needed.
• Monitor for unauthorized persons and control access to premises.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports on accidents and suspicious activities.
• Provide high level customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
