SSC, Inc. is seeking Part-Time Security Officers in New Haven, CT to perform patrols, monitor premises, and ensure safety for clients and visitors. Weekend and select shifts are required, with a starting pay of $18.50 per hour.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and can pass a drug screen. State license/registration may be required; reliable transportation is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• State Security Officer license/registration where applicable or qualify to complete state required affidavit/registration.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas by foot or vehicle.
• Observe for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Respond to emergency situations and/or alarms and contact appropriate emergency services based on situation.
• Monitor for the presence of unauthorized persons.
• Maintain access control of premises and monitor entrances and exits.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
