Job summary

ProGuard Security Services is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time grave shift in California. The position involves monitoring access points, patrolling the premises, and responding promptly to security incidents to protect employees, visitors, and property.

Pay is $27.95 per hour, Fri-Sat 23:00–07:30. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior security experience, basic computer and wireless communication skills, and strong oral communication to coordinate with staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security guard experience.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and wireless communication technology.
• Ability to perform physical patrol duties.
• Strong oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility using access control systems and verify identification of individuals entering the premises.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property, including climbing stairs and inspecting all areas to detect and deter suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Operate wireless communication devices and radios to maintain constant contact with security team members and report incidents promptly.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping and accountability.
