Sharp HealthCare is seeking a security professional to protect the Medical Center, staff, patients and visitors from accidents, theft and trespassing during a 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM shift. The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, a valid BSIS Guard Card within 90 days, and completion of NVCI training within 90 days.

Prior security or police experience is preferred. The position pays a flat $25.00 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BSIS Guard Card required within 90 days of hire.
• NVCI Training within 90 days of hire or transfer.
• 2 years police or security experience or related college coursework preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe, clean working environment with infection control requirements.
• Protect the Medical Center, employees, patients, visitors and property from risk and trespass.
• Identify high-risk persons and contraband and use appropriate interventions.
• Monitor identification badges and doors to uphold a secured environment.
• Assist with inventory, housing and retrieval of assets.
• Complete departmental documentation and timely report investigations.
• Follow established policies and procedures in all situations.
