Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport, FL is seeking a security professional to patrol assigned areas, uphold life safety standards, and respond to emergencies in a hospital setting.

You will investigate incidents, document hazards, and collaborate with medical staff while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-stress environment.

Minimum high school diploma and 1+ year security experience required; valid DL; ability to de-escalate, use reporting tools, and operate CCTV/Access Control systems.

Qualifications

• Patrols assigned areas and maintains life safety standards.
• Able to investigate suspicious activity and report hazards.
• Responds to emergency and alarm calls.
• Administers initial first aid as trained.

Responsibilities

• Learn hospital security systems and respond to fire alarms.
• Diffuse potential conflicts using verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Unlocks buildings after verifying IDs and policies.
• Monitor traffic and investigate incidents and criminal activities.
• Document safety hazards and incidents in reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
