Job summary

Friendship Village in St. Louis, MO is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for the Night shift at our Sunset Hills campus. You will patrol inside and outside, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates are customer-service minded, 21+ with a valid driver’s license, clean background, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a St. Louis County Security Officer’s License; First Aid/CPR/AED certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Clean background check
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to obtain and maintain St. Louis County Security Officer’s License
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification from a qualified agency preferred

Responsibilities

• Make scheduled rounds inside and outside to maintain a secure environment for residents, staff, visitors, and property
• Respond to fire, smoke alarms, and emergencies; act as campus First Responder
• Report incidents immediately and communicate unsafe conditions to a supervisor
• Prepare daily activity reports and notify supervisors or administrators as needed
• Monitor parking lots and building entrances for safety concerns
