Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a correctional facility access control role in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, support access control activities, and respond to security concerns to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Responsibilities include handling incidents calmly, following site policies, and performing routine patrols across client sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
